Qualifications & Requirements:
The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited medical school and possess the following:
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Ability to deliver high-quality patient care efficiently
- Familiarity and comfort in providing care to underserved populations with complex needs
- Relevant business experience, preferably in a large health center setting or private practice, serving as either a Director or Associate Director
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, retention, and discipline of clinical providers and staff
- Knowledge of compliance issues related to clinical expertise
- Experience supervising advanced practitioners (APRNs, PAs)
- Proven ability in developing and participating in departmental strategic goals and direction
- Experience fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and collaboration
- Strong quality focus, including an understanding of ongoing professional practice evaluation
- Superior communication skills with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clinical and administrative staff, patients, and external partners
- Aptitude for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to make evidence-based decisions
- Ability to contribute meaningfully to enterprise-level projects
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Strong initiative, judgment, and discretion to help achieve organizational objectives
- Resourceful, problem-solving attitude with accountability
