Clinical Director of Adult Medicine

Qualifications & Requirements:

The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited medical school and possess the following:

  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Ability to deliver high-quality patient care efficiently
  • Familiarity and comfort in providing care to underserved populations with complex needs
  • Relevant business experience, preferably in a large health center setting or private practice, serving as either a Director or Associate Director
  • Experience with recruitment, onboarding, retention, and discipline of clinical providers and staff
  • Knowledge of compliance issues related to clinical expertise
  • Experience supervising advanced practitioners (APRNs, PAs)
  • Proven ability in developing and participating in departmental strategic goals and direction
  • Experience fostering a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and collaboration
  • Strong quality focus, including an understanding of ongoing professional practice evaluation
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clinical and administrative staff, patients, and external partners
  • Aptitude for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to make evidence-based decisions
  • Ability to contribute meaningfully to enterprise-level projects
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems
  • Strong initiative, judgment, and discretion to help achieve organizational objectives
  • Resourceful, problem-solving attitude with accountability
  • Alignment with the organizational mission and demonstration of Core Values
